The Public is Invited to XRoads41’s Camping Kick-Off Concert

[Oshkosh, Wisc., July 22, 2025] - XRoads41 Music Festival in Oshkosh is inviting the public to attend a free concert in their campgrounds on Wednesday, August 6, 2025. The concert will feature country singer Frank Ray and local openers Makenna Mae & Jake Alan of Grand Union. The concert will begin at 7 pm.

The Wednesday night concert started as a way to provide XRoads41 campers with more entertainment and feature the new campground hub area. The campground hub will include a stage, a bar sponsored by Sometimes at Pioneer Island, food trucks, and more. Festival organizers recently decided to make the Wednesday night kick-off concert a sneak peak opportunity open to everyone instead of just campers.

“We had a few people who aren’t camping ask if they could attend this concert because they like the two acts that are playing,” explained Oshkosh Festivals Marketing Director Mindy Klein. “We realized this could be an opportunity to get some new people to the grounds. There have been a lot of improvements made to our festival site since the Country USA days! We want everyone to come see the experience we have to offer at XRoads41.”

No ticket or wristband is needed to attend the Wednesday night campground concert. Gates will open to the public from 5:30 p.m.-11 p.m. that evening. No tailgating or outside food or beverages allowed. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. All non-campers must use the Washburn Street entrance. They will be directed by staff on where to park and enter the campgrounds.

Tickets are still available for the main three days of the music festival from Aug. 7-9. The Bank First Main Stage lineup features some of the hottest artists on tour right now, including Cody Johnson, Kane Brown, Parker McCollum, Dustin Lynch, Parmalee, Jessie Murph; Nelly, Flo Rida, Koe Wetzel, Rodney Atkins, and many more. 3-day and single day tickets are available. There are general admission, VIP, and premium tickets options, along with on-site camping.
